Madeleine Johns is a writer and obsessive reader from Canberra, Australia. She completed a Bachelor of Arts (Creative Writing) at the University of Canberra in 2021. She is a member of the ACT Writers Centre and the Canberra Speculative Fiction Guild.

She was selected for a two-week residency at the KSP Writers’ Centre in Perth, Australia, as part of the “2019 New Writers Program”.

Her short fiction has been published on The Regal Fox, Curieux, Cicerone Journal and in “Analecta 2018: Disconnections”, the University of Canberra’s annual printed anthology.

If she’s not writing, you’ll find her reading (most likely with a cup of tea and her cat on her lap).
